Bulang Gushu tea

This exceptional Bulang Gushu tea was crafted specifically for us by teamaster Panda and Yang Ming, who are well aware of our fondness for teas originating from Bulang. Our lingering appreciation for the legendary 2015 Bulang Gushu, long since sold out, is still strong. Mirroring the distinctiveness of the 2015 Bulang and the Bulang 5-Village Blend, this tea also originates from the tea fields of a former school friend of Yang Ming.

The tea possesses a subtly bitter note, reminiscent of teas from Lao Man E. The exact reason for this similarity remains a mystery, yet the geographical closeness to Lao Man E hints at the possibility of genetic influences from there infiltrating the Bulang tea gardens.

Who are teamaster Panda and Yang Ming?

Tea Masters Panda and Yang Ming are not only great friends but also revered experts in the realm of Pu-erh tea. Yang Ming hails from Yiwu, a region known for its tea production, and comes from a family with a deep-rooted tradition in crafting Pu-erh tea. Our popular Lucky Bee teas are a testament to the quality of tea from Yang Ming’s fields. Teamaster Panda, originally from Sichuan — which inspired his moniker — moved to Yunnan driven by his passion for Pu-erh tea. Beyond his expertise in Pu-erh tea, he is also a master calligrapher with an extensive knowledge of Chinese history, adding depth to his tea craftsmanship.
