This organic Sencha is grown by the Nakai Seicha Farm in Wazuka. Nakai Seicha is a traditional family business and has been producing organic tea for over 25 years.
Nakai Seicha Farm is located in the municipality of Wazuka in Kyoto Prefecture and lies at an altitude of 500m above sea level. Kyoto is known as the cradle of Japanese tea art. Many well-known teas such as Matcha and Gyokuro have their origin here.
Harvest time: March 2017
Taste: Sweet and fresh aroma paired with umami.
Origin: Nakai Seicha Farm, Wazuka, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
Variety: Blend from Yabukita, Okumidori, Yamakai, Sayamakaori and Zairai.
Preparation: approx. 3 g per jug, water temperature 60 – 70 ° C, brewing time 1-2 min.
Tip: Use more tea leaves and pour on it briefly and several times. First infusion max. 60s and every further 30s because the leaves are already soaked. A Kyusu teapot is best suited.
