Out of stock
Shiboridashi Gyokko was shaped by the hands of Master Gyokko which has been honored for his work at the Choza exhibition and at various national competitions. All Kyusu of Master Gyokko are made by himself on the potter’s wheel. Of particular note is the art of traditional ceramics firing. Master Gyokko masters the reduction of fire like no other. Thus he achieves in many of his works exceedingly intense color gradients, which are made by controlling the fire. The used Tokoname clay with high iron content is a natural product.
This exceptional Shiboridashi is made from the same Tokoname clay like Gyokko’s teapot. It holds 50ml and is particularly suitable for Gyokuro.
