Tokoname Kyusu Teapot Yamafusa

Description

A Kyusu teapot shaped by Japanese artist Koie Takehiko. Mr. Takehiko is the leading artist at Yamafusa and creates teapots as well as bonsai vessels. This teapot looks very playful in contrast to his bonsai pots. He creates this by using floral patterns to interrupt the otherwise straightforward design of the teapot. This special teapot has an integrated sieve which runs all around. This type of sieve is particularly suitable for quickly and controllably draining the tea as it can be virtually impossible to clog. The teapot holds 270ml and is particularly suitable for Sencha and Kabuse Sencha.
