This organic Sencha is grown by the Watanabe family in Yakushima. Hachimanjyu Tea Garden is located in Yakushima which is one of the southernmost islands Japan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The unique, geographical location makes tea from Yakushima particularly popular with tea lovers that the earliest possible Shincha can be harvested here.

Taste: Sweet and very refreshing aroma.
Origin: Hachimanjyu Tea Garden of the Watanabe family in Yakushima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
Variety: Blend of Yabukita tea leaves from spring and summer harvest.
Preparation: approx. 3 g per jug, water temperature 70 – 80 ° C , Infusion time 1-2 min.
Tip: Take more tea leaves and pour them briefly and several times. First infusion max. 60s and every further 30s because the leaves are already soaked. A Kyusu teapot is best suited.
