Baihao Yinzhen, also silver needle tea called, is one of the worlds finest and also one of China’s 10 famous teas. Baihao Yinzhen is like Bai Mudan a white tea and both are made from the Da Bai cultivar. Tea connoisseurs mostly drink Baihao Yinzhen because of the distinctive and delicate aroma.

is made from the first harvest and of the highest quality. The tea is processed according to Zhenghe style. White tea from Zhenghe
differs from Fuding white tea
due too a slight stronger oxidation. The infusion is therefor full-bodied compared to Fuding style white tea.
The new harvest of 2020 is of even better quality. This is due to the earlier harvest which is in fact the first pick of the year. One can see the difference in the shape of the buds. The early picked buds are shorter and thicker compared to later harvested buds. We will upload later a photo for compare.

Preparation: Per serving approx. 2g, temperature approx. 75°C, time 3-5 minutes
Tip: First infusion should last a bit longer as the thick leaf buds need time to soak.
